6 Months Until Christmas Blog Hop

WOWZERS I just read the title and realized we are half way through the year already! Can you believe it, only 6 more months until exciting!

I am so glad you are here for our monthly Christmas Blog hop that we do on the 25th of every month. A few of us do this hop to get a head start on our Christmas cards as November and beyond are just so busy with all the prep.

If you arrived here from super creative Heather's blog then you are in the right place. If you happened to stumble upon me, please start at Shari's blog and hop along to see everyone's creations. I will post the blog hop order at the bottom of my post.

Out theme this month was a photo inspiration. My first card I used the snowman as my inspiration and my second card I focused on the berries. I hope you enjoy :)
Card 1

Copic Markers Used:
  • Browns: E44, E43, E42, E40
  • Blues:     B97, B95, B93
  • Reds:      R39, R37, R35
The stamp set is from Inky Antics called "Decorating Snowman" and is meant to be used with their HoneyPOP paper to create these beautiful 3D cards. I LOVE this card and had so much fun creating it. I will definitely make a few of these for Christmas. The paper pack I used is Echo Park "Winter Park" 6x6 pack. The sentiments come with the stamp set.

Card 2

Materials Used :
I had the perfect stamp to recreate the berry look, it is from Inkadinkado part of their Stamping Gear set called "branches". I did not use it with the stamping gear tools, I just used a clear block and stamped where I wanted onto kraft cardstock. The image is Edwin and I believe he is called "tangled up" and the sentiments are from Stampin' Up

I hope you enjoyed my cards today and have fun hopping along!

Mary I love them both!!!
The colouring is amazing and the 3D ornament on the first one is awesome!!!!
I can hardly believe that we are half way there already.
Even though the weather here seems more like Halloween than summer brrrrr.
I hope that you have a great week.

That first card is darling with the snowman and the dimension on the inside from the honeycomb paper! Love all the berries surrounding the sweet image on your second card!

Both cards are amazing. I looked at the Honeypop card/paper to buy and seeing it here means I can no longer resist. Using the berries for inspiration on the second one as great. Hugs!

Loved both of these delightful cards, and was interested in seeing that you used the stamping gear branches stamp w/out the'gear'. I'll have to try that one! Great idea. Especially enjoyed Mr. Snowman. Love those Inky Antics stamps, and your honeypop insert took it over the top. Fantastic shading & highlites with your copics. Really enjoyed seeing both these wonderful cards. TFS & Hugs
