I am so glad you could join us for this oh so fun blog hop that we have on the 25th of every month. We show 2 Christmas projects each month in hopes of being that much more organized with our cards by the time December hits.

Card 2

For my first card I used the most adorable stamp set "Santa's List" from Stampin' Up and for my second card I used one of the trees from the Lovely as a Tree set from Stampin' Up (one of my FAVOURITE sets of all time).

No colouring for a change but I am very pleased with how these cards turned out.

2 Months Until Christmas Blog Hop!!!!

Yikes...did you just see that title? 2 months until the BIG day...woohoo!!!!

I am so glad you could join us for this oh so fun blog hop that we have on the 25th of every month. We show 2 Christmas projects each month in hopes of being that much more organized with our cards by the time December hits.

If you arrived here from creative Heather's blog then you are in the right place. If you happened to stumble upon me, please start at crafty Shari's blog and hop along to see everyone's creations. I will post the blog hop order at the bottom of my post

This month we had a photo inspiration to gather our creative juices from. Here is the photo we used....

This picture is so warm and inviting that it just makes me want to curl up with a good book.

Here are the 2 cards that I made...enjoy!

Card 1

for the close up...

for the inside...

Card 2

I thoroughly enjoyed making both of these cards. The first card I used a spellbinders die to cut out the window...just love how pretty this card is. The second card I used one of my favourite stamp sets. It is actually a stamping gear set by inkadinkadoo. I used the branch stamp to create the Christmas tree using 2 different momento ink pads. I then added some red glitter ritz as tinsel and of course some ornaments to complete it. Super fun and easy card to make!

I hope you have enjoyed my cards and get some inspiration to continue or in some cases begin to create all of the cards you need this Holiday Season.

4 Months Until Christmas Blog Hop!

I know I say this every month but WOW...4 months until Christmas!!! Woohoo, I cannot wait for that exciting time of year :)

I am so glad you are here once again for our monthly Christmas blog hop that we do on the 25th of each month. We do this so we can have a head start on our Christmas cards.

If you arrived here from creative Shari's blog then you are in the right place.  I will post the blog hop order at the bottom of my post.

Our theme this month is inspired by a Christmas song/carol. I hope you like what I came up with :)

Card 1

Tag 2

a little closer look...

For my card my song inspiration is "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas". The paper and ribbon I received from Nikki as blog candy a while ago (thanks Nikki!). I used my trusty copics to colour  and voila my card is made :)

I think my song inspiration is pretty obvious on the tag :) I LOVE the way this tag turned out and had so much fun creating it. I used the music note background stamp from Michaels Recollections Brand using Tim Holtz Walnut Stain distress ink. Then  I used the Ranger smooshing (only word I seem to be able to come up with for this technique at the moment) tool and smooshed all over with Walnut Stain. Then I used one of the Stamping Gear stamps for Inkadinkado "Branches" and stamped that in the 2 opposite corners, added some bling and snowflakes I picked up at Joann's when I was there shopping a couple of weekends ago. I will definitely make up a bunch more of these to attach to presents.

I swear I am totally in love with Tim Holtz products and techniques and especially love his distress ink.

6 Months Until Christmas Blog Hop

WOWZERS I just read the title and realized we are half way through the year already! Can you believe it, only 6 more months until Christmas....so exciting!

I am so glad you are here for our monthly Christmas Blog hop that we do on the 25th of every month. A few of us do this hop to get a head start on our Christmas cards as November and beyond are just so busy with all the prep.

If you arrived here from super creative Heather's blog then you are in the right place. If you happened to stumble upon me, please start at Shari's blog and hop along to see everyone's creations. I will post the blog hop order at the bottom of my post.

Out theme this month was a photo inspiration. My first card I used the snowman as my inspiration and my second card I focused on the berries. I hope you enjoy :)

Card 1

Copic Markers Used:
  • Browns: E44, E43, E42, E40
  • Blues:     B97, B95, B93
  • Reds:      R39, R37, R35
The stamp set is from Inky Antics called "Decorating Snowman" and is meant to be used with their HoneyPOP paper to create these beautiful 3D cards. I LOVE this card and had so much fun creating it. I will definitely make a few of these for Christmas. The paper pack I used is Echo Park "Winter Park" 6x6 pack. The sentiments come with the stamp set.

Card 2

Materials Used :

I had the perfect stamp to recreate the berry look, it is from Inkadinkado part of their Stamping Gear set called "branches". I did not use it with the stamping gear tools, I just used a clear block and stamped where I wanted onto kraft cardstock. The image is Edwin and I believe he is called "tangled up" and the sentiments are from Stampin' Up
