Fussy & Fancy Challenge #88 "Anything Goes"

Happy Friday!

I am so glad you stopped by. We have a super challenge going on at Fussy and Fancy that gives you no excuses....Anything Goes is the theme and I am sure (if you are anything like me) you have projects just waiting to be posted! Now's your time to get those up :)

This is also a bitter sweet moment for me as this will be my last post for Fussy and Fancy as a Design Team Member. I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the team but life has gotten a lot busier for me and I am unable to dedicate as much time as I would like to. I thank the gals at Fussy and Fancy for a super experience and can't wait to see future challenges (maybe even participate LOL)

The card I have chosen to share today is one that someone asked me to make for their real estate agent as a thank you for selling their house. I loved the challenge and came up with a vision of looking out your window and seeing a "sold" sign in your front yard and how good that would feel. I created the sold sign in photoshop and used the real estate agent's picture and logo to make it authentic. I had a great time creating this card...I love it when you have a vision and it just all comes together. I would love to hear your thoughts and can't wait to see your projects.

Materials Used:
  • Kraft cardstock as the "paint"
  • Designer Paper is from Three Bugs in a Rug "Blast Off" as the wallpaper
  • The chair is a digi that I coloured with my Copics E59, E29, E27, E25
  • The window is a die from Memory Box "Grand Madison Window"
  • The tree outside is a stamp from Inkadinkado (there was no name on it)
  • The picture on the wall I used this cheapie stamp set I have had for years (finally got a chance to use it)
  • The sold sign I created in photoshop
Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you get some time to go to your Happy Place!

Hugs,
Mary

Fussy and Fancy Challenge #86 "Use a Faux Technique"

Happy Friday!!!

We are back with another fun challenge for you "use a faux technique"! I really liked this challenge because it go me to go outside the box. I hope you enjoy all of the fantastic examples made by our very talented design team. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with and hope that you will join in with our challenge.

I made something other than a card this time. I made a faux leather wallet!!! I can't take credit for this genius idea as I found it on splitcoast stampers in their tutorial section. I will post a link at the end of my post. I can't wait to make more of these in all kinds of colours.

As promised here is the link to the tutorial Splitcoaststampers

Thank you so much for stopping by. As always, now it is your turn to go to your Happy Place!
